People will be able to take a look at plans for a new fire station in Guildford during an open day this week.
The event will give local residents the chance to learn more about the project and talk to the people behind the plans, including Surrey County Council officers.
The county council will soon apply for planning permission to build a state-of-the-art new fire station at Ladymead in Guildford. The new building will include better training facilities and improved working areas for firefighters.
The open day will take place on Wednesday, 7 December, between 3pm and 7.30pm, at the current Guildford fire station, in Ladymead, Guildford, GU1 1DL.
