With just over two weeks to go, the second Surrey County Council annual Stars in Surrey awards is nearly here.
The awards are a unique opportunity to stop and reflect on some of the many amazing individuals, teams, workers, volunteers, and residents in Surrey who go above and beyond in their daily lives to make a difference.
The majority of award nominees have been selected by judging panels made up of a wide range of individuals from within the council. However, voting is still open for The People’s Choice Award, and the council want you to decide who should pick up this prestigious award.
Those nominated in this category have demonstrated a combination of qualities. They embody the values and behaviours of Surrey County Council; caring about their residents, wanting to excel, and doing everything with openness. They have also shown commitment to working together, respecting others and above all – care about making sure No One is Left Behind. Some have also delivered a stand-out achievement, which have put them head and shoulders above their peers. With just two weeks of voting for the award left, make sure you have your say and get voting now.
