The #Surrey gritters were out on the county’s roads in the small hours  and will be heading off again shortly – stay safe out there

Gritters have left depots across the county heading out on the roads to try & keep the ice at bay.The whole fleet are out but they can’t make it to every road & even on treated roads snow and ice can still form so do leave extra time and drive safely #SurreySnow

Cabinet Member @cllrcolinkemp is at a meeting today about developing the #highways network in #England. Here he explains why the most used roads should get more #funding

Gritters headed out across the most used roads at 4am, when back from that run they’ll be topped up and heading back out onto some of the smaller roads. They can’t get everywhere and roads can still be slippy so drive safely #SurreySnow

The latest #Surrey gritter run started at 4am this morning. Grit or salt isn’t magic and doesn’t guarantee that roads are free of snow and ice. Drive carefully, drive sensibly. #DriveToArrive #surreysnow RT pls: @SurreyRoadCops @SurreyFRS
