Statement by David Hodge, Leader of Surrey County Council “I have today required Ian Lake and Denise Saliagopoulos to stand down from the Cabinet. This decision relates to matters that are now being referred to the council’s Standards Committee. Two new Cabinet members will be appointed shortly.”

Plans are underway to regenerate the Preston and Merstham estates near Reigate and Banstead. Councillors and officials from Surrey County Council and Reigate and Banstead Borough Council took a fact finding tour of the areas and met with representatives from Raven Housing Trust.
