A fly through of the route that the Tour of Britain will take gives people a Bradley Wiggins eye view of the race.
The 10 minute video follows the route of the final stage of the 2012 Tour of Britain starting in Reigate before crossing the finish line on Guildford’s High Street on Sunday 16 September.
Surrey County Council’s Cabinet Member for the 2012 Games Helyn Clack said “The Tour of Britain will help build on the legacy of the Olympics in Surrey by boosting the economy and encouraging people to pick up a bike and I can’t wait to Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish racing on Surrey’s roads again so soon after the Olympics.”
The video is just one way that Surrey County Council is helping people to plan for the race and any disruption it may cause.
Newsletters have already been sent to residents and businesses on the route that includes detailed information about any road closures, parking restrictions, maps and tips for how people can plan ahead and enjoy the action.
