Voluntary, private and public sectors united to get involved in shaping services that help people live in their own homes and communities.
Surrey County Council and Surrey Heath Borough Council jointly staged the event to look at helping to give the elderly, disabled people, those with mental health problems and carers more choice and independence.
Michael Gosling, Surrey County Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health, said: “This event gave people the opportunity to tell us their views and provided us with the chance to listen and learn.
“We’ll take those opinions on board so together we can plan services that will help people keep their independence and live their lives as they choose.”
