Improving Surrey’s roads

Extra roadshows have been organised to help people give their views on improving Surrey’s roads.

The county council is asking residents to help it create a list of roads most in need of repair. The list will form part of a new longer-term approach to road maintenance which aims to tackle the root cause of potholes.

A series of roadshows have already taken place across Surrey and now three extra dates have been added to give even more people a chance to get involved.

They will be held between 11am and 4pm at:

* Stocklund Square, Cranleigh on Thursday, 22 November
* High Street, Staines on Friday 23 November
* Sainsbury’s store, Guildford Street, Chertsey on Friday, 30 November

Further dates will be confirmed on the council’s website. For more information on the project visit www.surreycc.gov.uk/improvingsurreysroads.
