Videos: council tax rise to invest in essential services

Surrey County Council today confirmed a council tax rise to spend on essential services now and avoid crippling the authority’s finances in the future. At a meeting of the Full Council it was agreed to increase council tax by 1.99% in April.

The three videos below set out Surrey’s case for the council tax rise, the plans to invest in schools, roads and care for the vulnerable and funding for apprentices and community projects.
