Council publishes findings of independent review

 An independent peer review by the Local Government Association has just reported its findings on Surrey County Council.

The summary report concluded that the county council has taken “huge strides” in the past four years and is now in a position “to take off”.

It also identified that “significant levels of savings have been achieved in recent years” and highlighted a “commitment to innovation”.
