Following the news that four Surrey firms have won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, Surrey County Council Strategic Director Julie Fisher said:
“I’d like to congratulate all four companies for winning this prestigious award. It is fantastic news not just for the companies themselves but for Surrey as a whole. They prove that the county is a great place to do business.
“The county council is taking an active role in supporting the local economy, helping it to grow and generate more jobs, and we’ll do all we possibly can to help businesses like these award winners to ensure Surrey continues to be a powerhouse of the national economy.”
The Surrey award award winners were McLaren Electronic Systems in Woking, Dorking-based G3Baxi Partnership, Exploration Partners International, Cobham, and Hewson Consulting Engineers in Guildford.
