Firefighters tackle Dorking blaze

Final update, 5.30pm:

The fire at a petrol station in London Road, Dorking, has now been put out.

Fire crews were called to the scene just after 2.30pm and extinguished the blaze just after 5pm.

It is too early to speculate on the cause of the fire.


Fire crews are tackling a blaze in a shop at a petrol station in London Road, Dorking.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service has sent five fire engines and around 30 firefighters are currently at the scene. Crews were called around 2.30pm.

Surrey Police are advising drivers to avoid the area.
