British cycling hero Sir Bradley Wiggins will race on Surrey’s roads when he competes in Sunday’s Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic.
Tour de France winner and multiple Olympic gold medallist Sir Bradley was a late addition to the Sky line-up.
The move sees him return to the roads used for the races at the 2012 Olympics, where he won gold in the time trial. He will be the first former Tour winner to race in the Classic.
A press release can be found on the RideLondon website.
