Sally Marks has been elected the new Chairman of Surrey County Council following David Munro’s two years in post.
Mrs Marks stepped up from her previous position as Vice Chairman with Nick Skellett now taking that role.
The county councillor for Caterham Valley chaired Tuesday’s annual Full Council meeting and opened with her first speech as Chairman.
