Surrey chairman praises volunteers
Surrey County Council Chairman Sally Marks praised the efforts of the volunteer drug and alcohol team to help people deal with their problems when she paid a visit to Catalyst’s Camberley base. Catalyst provides counselling as well as support for family and friends.
Mrs Marks said: “I am so grateful to Catalyst for inviting me to meet their volunteers and learn more about the work of the charity. People who experience issues stemming from drug and alcohol misuse and mental health rely on the assistance and support of organisations like Catalyst and their work is extremely important as we know that it is not only the individual who can be affected, but also their family, friends and the wider community.”
