A new cafe-style drop-in centre which helps people with mental health issues has been officially launched by Surrey County Council’s Margaret Hicks.
The authority’s mental health champion opened the Safe Haven Service at the Marjorie Richardson Centre in Woking.
She said: “This is great news for Woking and, most importantly, for people with mental health issues. By working together as one team, we can provide them with even better support when it’s needed most while also helping to reduce their need for more intensive care and support in the future.”
More information can be found on the North West Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group website.
