Make a Difference Today – Help us Save Lives

Today we are asking people to join the national NHS effort to help save lives.

Workers with a wide range of different skills are urgently needed to staff the new hospital opening at Headley Court later this month.

NHS Headley Court Hospital Surrey in Leatherhead, a former military rehabilitation facility, will re-open as a partnership response by Surrey County Council, alongside the NHS and Surrey Heartlands, to become a temporary community hospital helping to relieve pressure on our bigger, acute hospitals during the weeks and months ahead.

We’re hoping staff across the county including districts and boroughs, Surrey residents and others will take up the opportunity to fill support and therapy roles as part of the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

People are also urgently needed to fill other nursing and clinical posts at the site.

Council staff from many departments have already provided crucial help in getting the site up and running quickly, joining the cross-partner team which also includes the military and the NHS, to source vital kit (such as beds), install telephone and IT lines, tidy up the grounds and sort out general utilities.

Now we need another army of people to step in when the hospital opens. So, what are you waiting for!

The roles we are looking for are:

Nursing

Allied Health Professionals

This is a fantastic opportunity to give help where it is needed most.
