Crew have now returned to Guildford Fire Station.
A Surrey Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Due to an ongoing police led incident at Guildford Fire Station crews have been evacuated from the premises.
“Firefighters and their fire engines are currently based at a standby location nearby ready to respond to any emergencies across the area.”
