John and Wendy Palczynski, who foster children with disabilities and complex health problems, have received MBEs from Her Majesty The Queen at Windsor Castle.
The couple, from Guildford, have cared for 29 children over 13 years including some with profound multiple disabilities and conditions such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy and blindness.They were recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to children and families in Surrey.
