More than 850,000 registered to vote in county council election

More than 850,000 people are eligible to vote in this year’s county council election tomorrow (Thursday).

The number of people registered to have their say in each borough and district and where Friday’s counts will take place are as follows:

Elmbridge – 98,738 (Esher Hall, Sandown Park Racecourse, Portsmouth Road, Esher, KT10 9AJ)

Epsom & Ewell – 57,727 (Bourne Hall, Spring Street, Ewell Village, KT17 1UF)

Guildford – 100,084 (The Spectrum, Parkway, Guildford, GU1 1UP)

Mole Valley – 67,354 (Dorking Sports Centre, Reigate Road, Dorking, RH4 1SN)

Reigate & Banstead – 105,392 (Donyngs Leisure Centre, Linkfield Lane, Redhill, RH1 1DP)

Runnymede – 59,954 (The Hythe Centre, Thorpe Road, Staines, TW18 3HD)

Spelthorne – 75,390 (Spelthorne Leisure Centre, Knowle Green, Staines, TW18 1AJ)

Surrey Heath – 66,026 (Camberley Theatre, Knoll Road, Camberley, GU15 3SY)

Tandridge – 64,144 (De Stafford Sports Centre, Burntwood Lane, Caterham, CR3 5YX)

Waverley – 91,403 (The Edge Leisure Centre, Woolmer Hill Road, Haslemere, GU27 1QB)

Woking – 73,488 (H.G. Wells Centre, Church Street East, Woking, GU21 6HJ)

Please note: No counts will take place overnight and all results are expected to be announced throughout Friday.

The results will be published on Surrey News as soon as they are announced while they will also be posted on the county council website.
