Wyatt Ramsdale wins county council by-election

Conservative Wyatt Ramsdale has won the Surrey County Council by-election for the Farnham South Division.

Wyatt, who is also known as Robert Ramsdale, was elected as the county councillor after securing 932 votes – 178 more than nearest rival Jerry Hyman (Farnham Residents).

The by-election was called after David Munro (Conservative) stood down following his election as the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey.

Paul Chapman (UK Independence Party) 89

Jerry Hyman (Farnham Residents) 754

Wyatt Ramsdale (Conservative) 932

Mark Westcott (Independent) 139

Fabian Wood (Labour) 77
