Dementia carers’ coffee mornings

Coffee mornings for people with dementia and their carers have been organised by Surrey County Council’s libraries service.

The events, which take place next month, will give people affected by the condition a chance to talk through their problems with representatives of The Alzheimer’s Society and Age UK while also finding out what the library service can offer to dementia sufferers.

The sessions will take place on:

  • Tuesday 6 September, 10.45am–12.15pm, Manor Farm Day Centre, Egham
  • Thursday 8 September, 2.30–5.30pm, Brooklands Museum, Weybridge
  • Tuesday 13 September, 10am–12pm, Weybridge Centre for the Community
  • Friday 23 September, 10.30am–12.30pm, St Mary’s Centre, West Byfleet

More information can be found by contacting Surrey Libraries on 0300 200 1001 or emailing surreylibraries@surreycc.gov.uk.
